Raffealla is the Directress of Raffealla Fernando photography and currently she is working as a celebrity and fashion photographer, celebrity stylist, fashion designer, senior fashion lecturer, jewellery designer, journalist, fashion blogger and a fashion consultant.She is 9 times award winning fashion designer and stylist, working both locally and internationally in countries such as London, France, Italy, Maldives, India, Singapore and Switzerland.
She recently won the award for the best fashion photographer of the year 2017 at the international achievers awards London also known as the IAA awards.
She was the first and only Sri Lankan won the award.She was ranked in the top ten photographers of the world at the BEFFTA awards London in 2017, she was shortlisted out of 300 photographers worldwide and once again she was the first Sri Lankan to make a mark in the top ten ranks.
She was nominated for the Best fashion photographer awards at the New York fashion awards in year 2016.
She was the first ever Sri Lankan to show case at the London fashion week organized by the house of ikons for the 40 th anniversary of his Excellency Prince Charles’s charity trust.
She designed for Miss Maitri Priska for the 69 th Cannes film festival red carpet in year 2016.
First and the only Asian designer who got invited for the NOLCHA - New York fashion week inyear 2011.Style and media director for Asia super model 2014 which will be held in china.
Worked with Italian Top designer Laura conti on her look book collection which was launched in Malaysia, Singapore, London, Australia and Milan.
